The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by a delegation from the Tyumen region
Today the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by a delegation from the Tyumen region. The working meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Gelyus Bayazitov, the head of the department for the development of livestock industries Siren Nigmatzyanov and the head of the livestock department of the Department of Agro-Industrial Complex of the Tyumen Region Rustem Betlyaev.
Gelus Bayazitov presented the possibilities of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan. He noted that Tatarstan is one of the promising regions of Russia and ranks 5th in terms of gross agricultural output. According to preliminary results, among the Russian regions, the republic occupies: 1st place in milk production, 2nd place in potato production, 8th place in production of livestock and poultry for slaughter, 9th place in egg production.
Over the past year, they harvested more than 5 million tons of grain, more than 800 thousand tons of potatoes, 240 thousand 74 tons of vegetables and milked more than 2 million tons of milk.
The participants of the meeting discussed issues of providing breeding material, namely, cooperation in the supply of sheep of the Edilbaevskaya breed. Further, the ceremony of signing an agreement between LLC "Edilbay - Volga Region" and LLC "Strana Agro" took place.
The delegation of the Tyumen region highly appreciated the achievements of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of animal husbandry and thanked for the warm welcome.
