The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan was visited by a delegation from the Novgorod region
Today, a delegation from the Novgorod region visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Efremov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Novgorod Region, Dmitry Yashin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexander Molokin.
Lenar Garipov presented the possibilities of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan. He noted that Tatarstan is one of the promising regions of Russia and ranks 5th in terms of gross agricultural output. According to preliminary results, among the Russian regions, the republic occupies: 1st place in milk production, 2nd place in potato production, 8th place in production of livestock and poultry for slaughter, 9th place in egg production.
Over the past year, they harvested more than 5 million tons of grain, more than 800 thousand tons of potatoes, 240 thousand 74 tons of vegetables and milked more than 2 million tons of milk.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of organizing support for small businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan and ongoing work to combat the hogweed Sosnovsky.
Then Lenar Garipov invited guests from Nizhny Novgorod on July 6-9 to the All-Russian "Field Day".
