The Ministry of Agriculture and Food held a meeting with the regions of Tatarstan, at which they summed up the results of animal husbandry for 5 months of the current year. The meeting was chaired by Siren Nigmatzyanov, Head of the Livestock Industry Development Department, Gelus Bayazitov, Head of the Animal Breeding and Reproduction Department.
The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of selection and breeding services of the departments of agriculture and food in municipal districts, representatives of investment companies, heads of agricultural departments and other responsible persons.
Siren Nigmatzyanov in his speech focused on the issues of milk and meat production, as well as an analysis of the work of farms.
To date, agricultural formations have produced 684 thousand tons of milk with an increase of 120% compared to last year. 176.3 thousand tons of meat were produced, of which 40.4 thousand tons of cattle meat, with an increase of 2%, pigs - 40.9 thousand tons, poultry meat - 93.9 thousand tons.
The number of cattle is 634 987 heads, 99% of the previous year, or 5 638 heads less. Thanks to the importation of pedigree cattle, we have an increase in the number of dairy herds by 2 thousand heads (101% compared to last year). However, there is a decrease in numbers by the beginning of the year.
The number of pigs is 450 830 heads, 96% of the previous year. For sheep and goats, the livestock is at the level of last year - 59 723 heads. The number of poultry is 15 million 634 thousand heads, 99%, minus 125 thousand heads. The number of horses is 19 thousand 226 heads, an increase of 1%.
In terms of meat production, the largest increase was in Tukaevsky (+2.2 thousand tons), Aktanyshsky (+1.6 thousand tons), Bugulma (+514 tons), Kukmorsky (+453 tons) districts. Negative dynamics is observed in 17 municipal districts. The greatest decrease is in Zelenodolsk, Alkeevsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Verkhneuslonsky districts.
The number of cattle in Krasny Vostok decreased by 7 thousand heads, in Ak Bars - by 12%, or 4360 heads less. In "Agrosila" reduction is 1300 heads, in "August-Agro" - 1400 heads.
In terms of milk production, negative dynamics since the beginning of the year is observed in 8 municipal districts, the largest minus in the Zainsky municipal district - 2 thousand tons, Kamsko - Ustyinsky and Sarmanovsky about 1.5 thousand tons, in the Tyulyachinsky and Novosheshminsky districts more than 1 thousand tons of lost milk . In the top three in terms of productivity of cows for 5 months are Atninsky, Sabinsky and Menzelinsky districts. In May, Atninsky, Muslyumovsky and Mamadyshsky districts became the best in terms of milk yield per cow.
To date, 148 thousand hectares of perennial grasses have been mowed - this is 40% of all areas. Including for hay - 40 thousand hectares, for haylage - 104 thousand hectares. To date, 33 thousand tons of hay, 433 thousand tons of haylage have been harvested.
In terms of mowing perennial grasses, Atninsky, Chistopolsky, Tetyushsky, Apastovsky, Kukmorsky, Zainsky and Zelenodolsky municipal districts are the leaders. In terms of haylage harvesting, Tetyushsky, Zainsky and Atninsky municipal districts are among the leaders. The Leninogorsk region has not yet begun to harvest haylage.
The 6 leaders in fodder procurement per 1 conditional cow include Tetyushsky, Zainsky, Atninsky, Kamsko-Ustyinsky, Kaibitsky and Buinsky districts. Among the outsiders are Leninogorsk, Novosheshminsky and Aznakaevsky districts.
“Harvesting the required amount of good quality rough and succulent fodder is a guarantee of the future profitability of the industry,” said Siren Nigmatzyanov.
In general, 22 districts came out with a plus compared to last year in terms of the offspring of calves. These are Alkeevsky, Atninsky, Aznakaevsky, Menzelinsky, Kukmorsky, Zelenodolsky and other districts.
At the end of the meeting, those present were invited to the 50th anniversary republican competition of machine milking cow operators, which will be held on June 21 - 22 on the basis of the agricultural cooperative " Saydashevo" Tukaevsky district.
And also on June 27, the 6th Republican competition of livestock specialists - breeders of dairy and meat direction will be held on the basis of JSC "Elite" of the Vysokogorsky district.
