The construction of a new elevator complex was launched in the Bugulma district

Today in the Bugulma district a solemn ceremony of laying the first stone at the construction of the elevator complex "Avgust-Leninogorsk" was held. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

The company "August-Agro" will build a large-scale project worth 2.9 billion rubles. This is an important investment in the Bugulma municipal district, a significant contribution to agriculture for the entire republic - grain from the South-East of Tatarstan and neighboring regions of Russia will be stored here.

“In the best years, there are about 2 million tons of grain for sale in the republic. Therefore, the project is very relevant. The throughput capacity of the new elevator will be up to 450,000 tons per year,” said Marat Zyabbarov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan.

Implementation of the 1st stage of construction is planned for 2023-2024. The design capacity of the elevator will be 112,000 tons of one-time grain storage. It will be imported from the territories of Tatarstan and neighboring regions of Russia. The enterprise will create 86 jobs.

“This point of shipment, storage and processing will allow not only the Bugulma region to develop, but also the entire south-east of Tatarstan. Today, the issue of shipping grain routes for export is acute. The new elevator will make it possible to ship 55-60 wagons per day in order to promptly deliver grain to the southern ports,” said Aidar Galyautdinov, General Director of Avgust-Agro Management Company LLC.

At present, the area of arable land cultivated by the agricultural holding in Tatarstan is 194 thousand hectares. All this necessitated the construction of a modern elevator complex. The enterprise will be able to provide agricultural producers with a wide range of services for storage, cleaning, drying, transshipment and loading of grain. When reaching the design capacity, about 600 thousand tons of products will pass through the elevator during the year.

“We have been working on this project for two years. The issue of food security is number one today. We really need modern high-quality storage and processing of crops. The construction of a modern elevator is a significant, large-scale event for the entire Bugulma municipal district!” said the head of the district, Linar Zakirov.

During the trip, the delegation also inspected the livestock complex of Severnaya Niva-Tatarstan LLC. The complex is a grandiose project, one of the largest in the region.

A farm designed for 3.5 thousand cows with areas for growing young cattle of dairy breeds for 5 thousand heads. The facility is scheduled to be completed by 2025.

In 2022, the investor invested 359 million rubles in production. In total, the volume of investments of the agricultural holding is more than 12 billion rubles. The farm employs 400 people. The company's revenue for the past year amounted to about 1.7 million rubles.

Further, the minister inspected the sunflower fields in the village of Zai-Karatai, the fields of spring wheat in the village of Ivanovka, the fields of spring wheat in the village of Sugushla, the fields in the village of Novy Ishteryak.
