"Children's Cup of the Federation of Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan" on a pony started today
Today the "Children's Cup of the Federation of Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan" started. The sport event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Volynets, Director of the Republican Children's and Youth Sports School for Equestrian Sports Aigul Nasybullina, President of the Russian Equestrian Association and head of the equestrian club "Izmailovo" Moscow Ekaterina Bakeeva.
This event is being held for the third time. About 70 young athletes from all over the republic and from other regions, such as Ulyanovsk, Kirov region and Udmurtia, took part in the competitions "Children's Cup of the Federation of Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan", which is dedicated to the International Children's Day.
Lenar Garipov said in his welcoming speech: “We are developing, mastering new equestrian disciplines, participating in All-Russian competitions, winning, developing mass sports. Our success is the result of stable development of equestrian sport in the Republic of Tatarstan. We wish you successful starts, victories and growth.”
As Irina Volynets noted, children have a unique opportunity to go in for equestrian sports absolutely free of charge. Live communication with ponies and horses has a positive effect on the health of children.
Equestrian Sports President of Russia Ekaterina Bakeeva assessed the level of the event and the number of young athletes. “It's great to see the development of the pony sport. It's nice to see the happy faces of children and their parents,” she added.
The program of the event also included animators, master classes, face painting and cotton candy.
