The results of livestock breeding for 4 months of the current year have been summed up
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food held a meeting with the regions of Tatarstan, at which they summed up the results of animal husbandry for 4 months of the current year. The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov.
The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of selection and breeding services of the departments of agriculture and food in municipal districts and other responsible persons.
The head of the Department for the Development of Livestock Industries Siren Nigmatzyanov in his speech focused on the issues of milk and meat production, as well as an analysis of the work of farms.
For 4 months of the current year, 539 thousand tons of milk were produced by agricultural formations with an increase of 12% compared to the level of the last year. In terms of productivity per cow, there is 10% growth.
For the production of meat, the total indicators are increasing. Only 140 thousand tons were produced, of which 32 thousand tons of cattle meat, with an increase of 2% by 22. Pig meat - 32 thousand and poultry meat - 74 thousand tons.
There is a decrease to the level of the previous year in cattle - minus 4 thousand heads, pigs - 11 thousand heads and horses - 122 heads. The number of sheep was increased, but at the same time the number of goats decreased by 224 heads. The number of poultry increased by 485 thousand heads in comparison with the period of the last year.
Significantly increased the number of cattle in Mamadyshsky district - plus 5705 heads, Menzelinsky - plus 4895 heads, in Kukmorsky - plus 3584 heads. More than 1 thousand heads are also in the Baltasinsky, Yelabuga, Atninsky, Sabinsky, Bugulminsky and Nizhnekamsky regions.
The number of cows continues to increase in Menzelinsky district - plus 143 heads per month, Muslyumovsky - plus 176, Yelabuga - plus 50 and Kukmorsky district - plus 142 heads.
The number of pigs in large pig breeding complexes as of March 1 amounted to 445 thousand heads, with a minus of 2064 heads compared to last year and minus 700 heads in February. LLC "Avangard" - increase of 4 thousand heads, LLC "Kamsky Bekon" - 2700. There is a reduction in LLC "Navruz" and LLC "Phoenix".
The number of sheep in the republic amounted to 54,085 heads, which is 544 heads less than last year. Significantly increased the number of sheep in Yelabuga region - plus 851 heads, Agryz - 478. Significant rates are also in Nurlat and Nizhnekamsk regions.
The highest concentration of horses in the republic in the Sabinsky municipal district is 2380 heads and continues to increase this year.
“Dear colleagues, if earlier horses were kept as the main labor force and transport, now you and I need to develop horse breeding in a productive direction,” added Siren Nigmatzyanov.
23 districts came out with an increase compared to last year in terms of the offspring of calves, including Alkeevsky, Aznakaevsky, Atninsky, Kukmorsky, Menzelinsky, Sabinsky and other regions. These are areas with positive dynamics in milk production. Also from this month, Baltasinsky, Tukaevsky and Apastovsky districts, which corrected the situation in terms of calf offspring through breeding farms and the purchase of heifers, were included in this list.
In the republic, 24 districts out of 36 came out with positive indicators for obtaining offspring of lambs to the level of last year. These are Almetevsky, Spassky, Vysokogorsky, Sabinsky, Mamadyshsky and other districts.
According to the results of 4 months, 37 districts received positive results on the offspring of foals compared to last year. These are Buinsky, Tyulyachinsky, Aznakaevsky, Aktanyshsky, Leninogorsky and other districts.
