Companies from Iran, Turkey and Senegal will become participants of Russia Halal Market in Kazan

Companies from Iran, Turkey and Senegal were announced among the participants of the exhibition of halal products Russia Halal Market as part of KazanForun-2023. Rustem Gainullov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, announced this to journalists at a briefing.

He stressed that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic is actively involved in the preparation and holding of KazanForum-2023. In particular, the ministry oversees the work of the Russia Halal Market, a unique exhibition of halal products in Russia, which will be held at the Kazan agro-industrial park.

“The exhibition starts tomorrow and will continue until May 20,” said Rustem Gainullov.

According to him, two halls of the exhibition with an area of over 14 thousand square meters will accommodate about 400 stands. Since March, the products of future exhibitors have been checked for strict compliance with all the requirements of the halal standard.
“We are expecting exhibitors from Iran – four companies, Turkish companies, as well as a company from Senegal. We will focus on products from Tatarstan, since we are positioning our republic as a pilot region for the export of halal products,” explained Rustem Gainullov.
