A new agricultural season of the Innagro project, a program aimed at the biologization of agricultural production, starts in Tatarstan. The project was initiated in 2020 by the Innopraktika non-state development institute.

Tatarstan joined the Innagro project in 2021. The goal of Innagro is the biologization of intensive agricultural production through the introduction of microbial synthesis preparations and other safe developments, building a soil fertility management system and obtaining healthier products.

In 2023, in the republic, experiments with preparations for the protection of crops will be held at the sites of more than 20 enterprises in the territories of Nurlatsky, Rybno-Slobodsky, Laishevsky, Arsky, Alekseevsky, Aksubaevsky, Spassky, Buinsky, Chistopolsky, Tukaevsky and Kamsko-Ustyinsky and other regions.

It is planned to test biological plant protection products and growth stimulants on wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, beets, potatoes, rapeseed, soybeans, cabbage and carrots.

“Innovations are actively developing in Tatarstan aimed at systematically increasing soil fertility and, as a result, improving the quality of agricultural products,” commented Vladimir Avdeenko, Director of the Directorate for the Development of Agro- and Biotechnologies at Innopraktika. According to him, the Innagro project received the support of the republican government, which encourages progressive technologies in the agro-industrial complex.

According to the results of previous tests in Tatarstan, the use of biological preparations provided an increase in grain crops of about 9-10% while reducing the pesticide load by 30%. At the same time, the additional economic efficiency of grain production amounted to more than 1,000 rubles per hectare.
