The report on the results of the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatartan was considered at a meeting of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy
Today, the report of the Government of the Republic was considered at a joint meeting of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy and the Expert Council under the Committee. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council Marat Akhmetov.
Nail Zalakov spoke about the results achieved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic. In 2022, the agrarians of the republic harvested 5.2 million tons of bread, for the first time in the history of Tatarstan, over 2 million tons of milk were produced.
The value of gross agricultural output in the last year amounted to 334.1 billion rubles, the production index - 125.9%. Food processing industry enterprises also showed positive dynamics. The production index is 103.8%, products worth 292.3 billion rubles were shipped.
As part of the implementation of republican programs for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of agribusiness facilities, work was carried out at 129 facilities in the amount of 613.9 million rubles, including 73 public infrastructure facilities and 56 agro-industrial complex facilities. “Within the framework of the State Program this year, 13.8 billion rubles are provided for the development of the industry. Support for the village remained in full, both from the budget of the republic and from the federal budget, explained Nail Zalakov. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia plans to allocate additional funds in the amount of 355 million rubles in the near future to subsidize the sold grain.”
Nail Zalakov also dwelled on the indicators of the current period. In January-February, more than 316 thousand tons of milk were produced, the increase is 9%, about 80 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat (98%) were sold, egg production is 106.5% compared to last year. At the same time, there is a decrease in the purchase prices for raw milk, which negatively affects the livestock industry.
The sown area this year will remain same as the last year - 2.7 million hectares. Provision with seeds of cereals, leguminous crops is 130% of the need. “The importation of purchased seeds continues. Provision for corn - 98%, sugar beet - 99% and sunflower - 93%. We monitor the delivery on a daily basis,” the speaker said.
Turning to the discussion of the reports, the members of the profile committee asked the representatives of the ministries and departments of the republic about the pricing of milk, formation of the cost of feed, and the loan portfolio of the agro-industrial complex.
Members of the profile committee noted the well-coordinated work of all authorities, thanks to which it was possible to implement the outlined plans almost in full, to fulfill the tasks facing the republic and obligations to implement regional and national projects. Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy Takhir Khadeev noted that members of the relevant committee also interact constructively with relevant ministries and departments on a regular basis throughout the year. “The result of the work carried out was the adoption of significant republican laws on the development of organic production, on certain measures to ensure the quality and safety of food products, on the regulation of certain issues in the field of animal treatment,” recalled Takhir Khadeev.
