Agrosila acquired a poultry farm in the Perm Territory
Agrosila Holding acquired a 100% stake in PRODO Poultry Farm Permskaya JSC, which occupies 34% of the market in the Perm Territory for the production of broiler meat and products from it. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Poultry Farm Permskaya is the largest producer of broiler meat and products of its processing in the Perm region. The design capacity of the poultry farm today is 48 thousand tons of finished products per year. At the time of acquisition, the company's assortment includes 168 items, including chicken carcasses, chilled and frozen semi-finished products, and poultry meat sausages. In addition, Halal products are produced at the poultry farm strictly in accordance with the canons of Shariah. In April 2022, the Perm enterprise successfully passed an audit for compliance with the requirements of the international food safety management system certification FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification), which today is one of the most advanced certification schemes in the world. Also this year, the poultry farm was included in the federal register of exporters as a supplier to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union: Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The products of the Perm Poultry Farm are presented in more than 5 thousand retail outlets, including all federal and local retail chains operating in the region. In addition to the Perm Territory, the products of the poultry farm are sold in the Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Omsk regions and in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Agrosila holding has a poultry complex located in Naberezhnye Chelny, LLC Chelny-Broiler, which is one of the TOP-10 largest poultry farms in Russia. The capacity of the enterprise is 126 thousand tons of meat in live weight and 95 thousand tons of finished products per year. Chelny-Broiler occupies 65% of the broiler meat market in the Republic of Tatarstan. The acquisition of the Permskaya Poultry Farm will expand the geography of Agrosila's presence and strengthen the holding's position on a federal scale.
