The Ministry of Agriculture and Food summed up the results of the livestock industry for the month of January

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food held a meeting with the regions of Tatarstan, at which they summed up the results of livestock breeding for January of this year. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov.

The event was attended by livestock consultants, heads of selection and breeding services of the departments of agriculture and food in municipal districts and other responsible persons.

Issues of animal husbandry were discussed at the meeting. These are cattle breeding, farm information support programs and cow feeding.

The head of the Department for the Development of Livestock Industries Siren Nigmatzyanov in his speech focused on the issues of milk and meat production, as well as an analysis of the work of farms.

To date, 133.9 thousand tons of milk have been produced, with an increase of more than 14 thousand tons compared to last year, which is 112%. 34.5 thousand tons of meat were produced, of which 8 thousand tons of cattle meat with an increase of 3% by 2022, pigs - 7.8 thousand tons, poultry meat - 18.4 thousand tons.

A positive example of increasing the volume of milk production is the farm LLC "Kishet" Arsky municipal district. It actively uses soybean grain in feeding livestock, thereby increasing the productivity of livestock. Compared to last year, milk production increased by 163%.

Agricultural formations produced 133.9 thousand tons of milk in January with an increase of 14.6 thousand tons, 112% compared to the previous year. In terms of milk production, Kukmorsky, Baltasinsky, Bugulminsky, Nurlatsky, Yelabuga, Mamadyshsky, Arsky, Sabinsky districts were among the first. Menzelinsky, Novosheshminsky, Rybno-Slobodsky districts cannot realize their potential.

Mamadyshsky, Kukmorsky, Menzelinsky, Atninsky, Bugulminsky, Yelabuga regions show high rates of cattle meat production compared to the level of last year. Negative dynamics was shown by Alkeevsky, Buinsky, Chistopolsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Kaybitsky districts.

One of the first to start increasing the number of horses was the Sabinsky municipal district, plus 191 heads by 2021 and 108 heads by the plan. Also, the Yelabuga region has significantly increased 22 heads, Agryzsky 21 heads, Mamadyshsky 27 heads.

At the end of the meeting, those present were invited to the final Board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be held on March 6-7 as part of the TatAgroExpo exhibition.
