In 2022, the volume of exports of products of the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan amounted to $417 million, with an increase of 6.9% compared to 2021. In total, deliveries were made to 54 countries. At the same time, the Halal direction is successfully developing, the volume of exports of which has increased 2.6 times since 2020 (from $2.5 million to $6.5 million).
The development of this direction is also facilitated by an increase in the number of manufacturers of products that comply with the canons of Islam.
One of these began its work this year on the territory of the Kazan agro-industrial park. Kazan Delicacies LLC is engaged in the production and sale of meat products (boiled, semi-smoked, smoked, dry-cured, raw-smoked sausages, ham, meat delicacies from chilled beef, horse meat, turkey and chicken).
The certification process is now underway. According to the head of the laboratory of veterinary and sanitary examination of the State Budgetary Institution "State Veterinary Association of Kazan" Reseda Mindubayeva, the products undergo the strictest control. “The production of products according to halal standards requires the fulfillment of certain requirements not only at the enterprise itself. It is important in what conditions and how the animal was kept, how the livestock was slaughtered, and, of course, no substances that can have a negative impact on human health should be used. We are monitoring this closely."
In addition to meat, the enterprise has a shop for the production of confectionery and bakery products. Here, too, everything is under strict control, no palm oil, margarine. Flavors and dyes are also used only natural.
Manufactured products are sold in its own trading network "Kazan Delicacies". Soon the products of the main Tatarstan manufacturers will be presented here.
The plans of the management of the enterprise - to engage in animal husbandry. So they plan to provide their production with their own high quality raw materials.
