The main results of foreign economic activity of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2022
At the meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov presented the main results of the foreign economic activity of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2022.
At the end of 2022, volume of exports of agricultural products in current prices amounted to $417 million, with an increase of 6.9% compared to 2021.
The products of the agro-industrial complex are exported by 160 participants in foreign economic activity with a geography of deliveries to 54 countries of the world.
71% of exports are products of the oil and fat industry.
The second in terms of volume is other products of the agro-industrial complex, which includes feed and feed additives for animals, alcoholic products and oilseeds.
Dairy products showed a significant increase of 2.5 times last year.
The Ministry is working to develop the export of products manufactured according to the Halal standard. Currently, there are more than 100 manufacturers of Halal products in the Republic of Tatarstan, including 20 companies that are export-oriented.
The key importers of Halal products are the CIS countries, Mongolia, Palestine, Brazil, Iraq, and Egypt.
