Last year, the agro-industrial complex managed to harvest 5 million tons of grain, and for the first time in the republic to overcome milk yield of 2 million tons. Digitization and automation of the industry played a significant role in the results obtained.
In 2022, the information system of the agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan received state status.

The geoinformation module, developed by RIVC JSC together with Innopolis University, made it possible to digitize agricultural land using artificial intelligence methods and obtain complete information about each hectare.

The republic is actively working on the introduction of modern digital technologies and automation systems in agribusiness, the end result of which is data-based enterprise management. This directly affects the increase in labor productivity, product quality and cost reduction.
To scale up positive automation practices in Tatarstan, a pilot program for co-financing the costs of automation of agricultural producers has been created and is actively operating.
An additional condition of the automation program was the involvement of domestic companies.
The advantage was given to Tatarstan companies, which additionally allowed saving money in the region and increasing the competence of regional developers. Thus, the share of domestic software was 88%.

At the end, the minister announced plans for 2023.
