Kazan residents will be able to purchase delicious products made from local quality raw materials: fresh pastries, bread, pies, chak-chak, Halal sausages and semi-finished products, koumiss and other products produced by local farmers.
“The project has already shown its relevance. This is a convenient tool for the sale of products produced by farmers and a guaranteed channel for expanding sales markets. Kazan entrepreneurs assessed the effectiveness of the business model of this project and took the initiative to open the second "Farmer's Island", - said Alexander Isaevich, General Director of the SME Corporation.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan actively supports the development of the SME Corporation project in the Republic of Tatarstan.
“This is the second farmer island in Kazan. The first was positively perceived by our citizens. Thanks to the farmers for finding new trade formats to be closer to customers and offering first-hand high-quality products,” said Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The operator of the project "Farmer Island" in the Republic of Tatarstan is the farm Mingazova L. In addition to food products produced by the operator: manti, dumplings, pies, the Farmer's Island presents the products of more than 20 local farmers and small processors.
SME Corporation provides support to operators in the selection of suppliers. So, on the "Farmer's Island" will be presented the products of the local farmer's cooperative "Aktanyshskie gusi". Potential suppliers can apply for participation in the project through the MSP.RF Digital Platform.
Currently, with the support of the SME Corporation, 31 Farm Islands have been organized in 19 constituent entities of the Russian Federation: Novosibirsk, Omsk, Ivanovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Rostov, Smolensk, Kurgan, Volgograd and Kirov regions, the Republics of Bashkortostan, Kalmykia, Tatarstan and Crimea , as well as in the Udmurt, Chuvash Republics, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and the Krasnodar Territory. "Farm Islands" are developing in accordance with the national project to support small and medium-sized businesses, which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
