Issues of implementing the state program for the development of agriculture were discussed at a meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, a meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on ecology, environmental management, agro-industrial and food policy was held on the issue “On the results of the implementation of the State Program “Development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials, food markets in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2025” for 2022 and plans for the 1st quarter of 2023”. It was chaired by Azat Khamaev.
  The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. He reported on the results of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture in 2022 and plans for the current year.

Financing in the amount of 18.3 billion rubles was provided for the implementation of activities of the State Program last year, including 7.1 billion rubles from the federal budget. For the current year, the amount of federal funds is 4.4 billion rubles.
“Last year we managed to harvest more than 5 million tons of grain. We set similar goals for the current year. For the harvest of 2022, winter crops were sown on an area of 472 thousand hectares, the provision with seeds of grain and leguminous crops was 125%, the main tillage was carried out on an area of 2.0 million hectares,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
As for updating the technical base of the agro-industrial complex, 5.2 billion rubles will be required for repairs; to date, enterprises have purchased spare parts worth 1.9 billion rubles.
“For the first time in the history of Tatarstan, we have received 2 million tons of milk for all categories of farms. 520 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat were sold, the dynamics of egg production is 101%, this is a plus of 15 million eggs compared to last year, 22 dairy complexes for 19 thousand heads were put into operation, 38 feed centers are used, they serve more than 139 thousand heads of cattle in 18 districts. It is planned to build 24 transitional facilities for 22 thousand heads and 5 new projects for 2 thousand heads,” the minister stressed.

In the republic, much attention is paid to the development of small forms of management. In 2022, a total of 2.2 billion rubles was allocated for support. The most significant support is grants to farmers and agricultural consumer cooperatives. 49 cooperatives received support in two areas in the amount of 342 million rubles.
Also, attention is paid to the implementation of investment projects. As part of the implementation of republican programs last year, the amount of funding reached 399 million rubles. In 2022, the total cost of construction and installation work amounted to 861.5 million rubles, 215.6 million rubles were allocated to reimburse part of the costs.
During the meeting, members of the committee and those invited asked questions about the development of beekeeping in the Republic of Tatarstan, the disposal of animal waste, and the development of organic production.
Marat Akhmetov highly appreciated the work of the ministry and the contribution of farmers to ensuring the country's food security and wished to achieve decent results this year as well.
