The results of 2022 were summed up in the Baltasinsky district

9 December 2022, Friday

On December 9, a meeting on the results of 2022 was held in the Baltasinsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The head of the Baltasinsky municipal district Ramil Nutfullin, the head of the executive committee Aidar Khairutdinov, as well as heads of crop and livestock farms took part in the work. The main tasks and problems of the agro-industrial sector were discussed.

Anas Lukmanov, director of the agrochemical center "Tatarskiy", made a presentation. He presented an analysis of the state of soil fertility in the Baltasinsky district based on the results of the XII cycle of agrochemical and environmental-toxicological surveys. Particular attention was paid to the comparison of the last two survey cycles of arable soils. A decrease in the average acidity index for the region from 5.8 to 5.7 and, accordingly, an increase in the proportion of acidic soils from 13.8 thousand ha to 16.9 thousand ha were revealed. There has been a tendency to increase the proportion of soils with a low content of mobile phosphorus and exchangeable potassium, which in the future may become one of the main limiting factors for achieving high yields. A new geographic information system “Agroecologist” was presented for work to integrate data between the agrochemical center and farms and quickly solve frequently occurring practical problems, such as calculating mineral fertilizers, forming a liming plan for acidic soils, rational placement of crops, etc.

At the end of the event, cartograms were presented to agricultural producers, on the basis of which agronomists of farms will be able to develop a set of evidence-based measures to maintain soil fertility and obtain consistently high crop yields
