Agricultural fairs continue in Tatarstan
On September 10, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk district, 3 sites in the city of Nizhnekamsk and in 26 municipal districts.
The agricultural fair in Raduzhny was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. He got acquainted with a range of presented products and their prices, and talked with farmers from the Apastovsky district, who presented their products.
According to the results of 13 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total of 1299.5 million rubles. Citizens bought more than 16021.4 tons of vegetables, 9947.2 tons of potatoes, 206.9 tons of draft milk, 1423.1 tons of meat, including 851 tons of beef.
32 municipal districts, 13032 transport units were involved in the fairs. Fairs will be held until December 24.
