Scientific works of Tatarstan land reclamators and agrichemists became winners of the IX All-Russian innovative public competition

The certification body for educational, methodological and scientific publications in the field of general education, together with the Interregional Center for Innovative Technologies in Education, from February 1 to October 31, 2022, held the IX All-Russian Innovative Public Competition for the best textbook, study guide and monograph. Both individual scientists, teachers, groups of authors, as well as publishing houses working with them, could take part in the competition.

The electronic versions of works published in Russian in the form of monographs, textbooks or teaching aids of the period from 2018 to 2022 were accepted. Internet voting was also held on the Center's website.

The expert commission of the All-Russian competition summed up the results and determined the winners of the competitions in each nomination. In the nomination "The best textbook (manual) for universities and postgraduate education" the winner was the work of Tatarstan scientists and meliorators "Scientific support of innovative development of meliorative agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan". Authors: Professor of the Department of Land Management and Cadastre of the Kazan State Agrarian University, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Faik Nabievich Safiollin and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Administration "Tatmeliovodkhoz" Mars Mansurovich Khismatullin.

In the nomination "The best scientific monograph" the book "Resource potential of leached lands of the Middle Volga region" was recognized as the winner. Author: Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Center for Agrochemical Service "Tatarsky" Lukmanov Anas Akhtyamovich.

These works are also recognized as the winner of the All-Russian competition in the nomination "Public recognition".

Systematic work is being carried out in the Republic of Tatarstan on the integrated development of land reclamation in various areas: irrigation and drainage systems are being built, measures are being taken for the cultural and technical cultivation of lands, agroforestry, monitoring of acidity and liming of acidic soils. The technical re-equipment of irrigation systems is also being carried out with the installation of modern highly efficient wide-cut machines of Tatarstan production.

 The development of the industry and its scientific support is carried out on a program basis. In the process of implementing targeted programs, scientific developments of Tatarstan scientists, land reclamators and agrichemists are used together with scientists from Kazan Agrarian University, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan subsidizes the costs of agricultural producers in the amount of 50 to 70% within the framework of republican and federal target programs. The implementation of target programs and the introduction of the results of scientific research made it possible to fully provide the population of the republic with vegetables and potatoes of local production from irrigated lands, as well as to meet the needs of livestock breeding of large investors and farms of the republic with a fodder base from irrigated lands, regardless of weather and climate conditions. Agrochemical cultivation of soils allows significantly increase the yield of many agricultural crops, significantly increasing the return on the applied mineral fertilizers.

The melioration system and agrochemical service of the republic is constantly recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia as one of the best in the country.
