1.5 million eggs sold at agricultural fairs in Tatarstan
On September 10, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk district, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and at various intervals in 26 municipal districts.
A wide range of products is presented for customers: potatoes, onions, carrots, sugar, grain, draft milk, meat, sausages, cheeses, honey and much more.
According to the results of 12 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total of 1205.4 million rubles. The townspeople bought more than 15 thousand tons of vegetables, including 9705.4 tons of potatoes, 192.2 tons of draft milk, 1285.2 tons of meat, including 770.5 tons of beef and 1.5 million eggs.
32 municipal districts, 12,196 vehicles were involved in the fairs. Fairs will be held until December 24 inclusive.
