Analysis of agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan for the first half of November

On November 19, at a traditional meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Zalakov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the progress of field work.

Harvesting continues for 3 crops - sugar beet, corn and sunflower.

For sugar beet: out of 50 thousand hectares, 49.3 thousand hectares or 99% were harvested.

For sunflower - out of 215 thousand hectares, 123 thousand hectares or 57% of the area were harvested.

To date, out of 47.3 thousand hectares, 13.5 thousand hectares of corn have not yet been harvested, which is 28% of the area.

Autumn tillage is almost completed. 1 million 737 thousand hectares have been processed. Planned - 1 million 769 thousand hectares.

Further, Nail Rinatovich reported on the implementation of measures to ensure the sustainability of the industry against the backdrop of existing restrictions.

In the current conditions, our special control is to provide the inhabitants of the republic with high-quality and affordable agricultural products.

We have good dynamics for January-September. There is more than 5 million tons of grain, 1.8 million tons of sugar beets, more than 600 thousand tons of oil seeds, and 260 thousand tons of vegetables.

In general, among the regions of the Volga Federal District, the lowest prices for sour cream, milk, butter, flour, buckwheat, canned food, and rice remain in the republic.
