Today, the Palace of Farmers hosted the final of the 14th republican competition of young combine operators “We glorify the working man”. The traditional large-scale campaign started along with the beginning of harvest-2022. According to the results of personal grinding, 22 participants from 17 regions of the republic passed to the final of the competition. On the first day of the competition, which took place the day before, they took theoretical tests, answered questions from the jury and demonstrated their skills in working with technology. “Thanks to your hard work and responsible attitude to business, we are maintaining sustainable growth in all areas of the Agroindustry. Our competition “Glorify the working man” is held for the 14th time with a very important mission - the formation of labor skills among the younger generation, and the popularization of working professions in the village is also important. The path you have chosen is very correct! Agriculture in the republic is developing, there is great support for the industry from the leadership of the republic, our President Rustam Minnikhanov, the federal ministry. Thanks to new technologies, digitalization, and specialists, we are moving forward,” said Marat Zyabbarov, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. Words of gratitude were also said to the young contestants by the chairman of the committee of the State Council of Tatarstan on ecology, nature management, agro-industrial and food policy Azat Khamaev. The best young combine operator of the republic was Rustam Mukhametdinov from the ZAY agricultural firm in the Zainsky district. The second place was taken by Fail Gizatdinov from Avgust-Muslyum LLC, Muslyumovsky district, and the third place went to Ilya Tetikov, a young machine operator at the Severnaya Niva farm from the Bugulma district.

On September 10, traditional agricultural fairs began at 14 sites in the city of Kazan. On the trading floors you can buy vegetable products, granulated sugar, flour, meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs and other products from the producers of the republic.

According to the results of 8 fairs, agricultural products were sold for a total of 820.7 million rubles. Citizens purchased 10,774.9 tons of vegetables, including 7,292.6 tons of potatoes, 125.4 tons of draft milk, 825.6 tons of meat, 506.4 tons of beef. 8260 vehicles were involved in the fairs.

Traditional agricultural fairs will last until December 24.
