Agrarian enterprises of Tatarstan sum up the results of the Innagro testing program aimed at studying the effectiveness of innovative Russian drugs for agriculture.

The Innagro program was initiated by Innopraktika in 2020 with the purpose of developing the biologization of the Russian agro-industrial complex. The objective of the project is to introduce new preparations into agriculture that preserve soil fertility, reduce the pesticide load and improve health of animals and birds.

The Republic of Tatarstan joined the Innagro project in 2021. For two years, agricultural enterprises of the republic and leading scientific centers have conducted more than 20 tests of biological plant protection products and growth stimulants on wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, beets, potatoes, and rapeseed.

Within the framework of the program, almost 300 hectares of land were treated with innovative preparations. In the climatic conditions of 2022, the use of biological products provided an increase in grains of about 9–10% while reducing the pesticide load by 30%. At the same time, the additional economic efficiency of cereals amounted to more than 1,000 rubles per hectare.

Summing up the results of tests for other crops continues.

“The results of tests conducted in 2022 by the experts of the Innagro project in cooperation with leading companies convincingly prove that the introduction of Russian biological plant protection products into the production practice of Tatarstan helps to increase yields and significantly reduce the pesticide load,” said the Director of the Agricultural Development Directorate and Biotechnologies of Innopractice Vladimir Avdeenko. According to him, the program is systematically improving the health of soil, reducing the burden on the environment and obtaining healthier products.

The participants of the program from Tatarstan were LLC AF Chistopolskaya, LLC Avgust-Kamskoe-Ustye, LLC Volga Select, LLC AF Nurkeevo, LLC Avangard, Akhmetov I.M., Kozin N M., Saetov I.R., and other companies.

Recall that in February 2022, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Innopraktika company signed a cooperation agreement aimed at the economic development of the region and stimulating technology transfer. Cooperation in the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan is planned to be developed in several directions, one of which involves testing biological preparations for agriculture, implemented as part of the Innagro project. This means that agricultural enterprises of the republic are waiting for new tests of biological products that contribute to the production of products with improved characteristics.
