From October 5 to October 8, 2022, the 24th Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn" was held, where the Agricultural complex "Derevnya" of the Almetyevsk district was awarded a silver medal in the nomination "The best agricultural producer using reclaimed land.
Since 2017, this farm has been implementing a unique project "Vegetable Valley", which provides for the creation of a complete infrastructure for irrigating fields by drip irrigation with the involvement of agricultural producers as members of the cooperative for the joint production, processing, storage and sale of vegetable and fruit and berry products. On the farm, the meliorators of Tatarstan designed and built a modern irrigation system for drip irrigation of crops, which allows timely and high-quality organization of irrigation of crops with a variety of irrigation regimes for each crop, as well as the application of fertilizers and agrochemicals through drip irrigation. Within the framework of targeted programs implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the farm was reimbursed for up to 80% of the costs for the construction of the reclamation system and the purchase of sprinkler equipment.
"Derevnya" uses highly productive seed material of the quality "Elite", "SuperElite" of Russian and Dutch production. In the production of vegetable crops, the cooperative uses advanced technologies, namely modern reclamation drip irrigation systems, which allow for integrated plant protection using up to 80% biological products and spot application of micro and macro elements based on the results of leaf diagnostics by its own laboratory.
The Derevnya cooperative is working on launching a project to grow high-yielding Russian and European varieties of potatoes on an area of 200 hectares in the Almetyevsk district under irrigation. The project is being implemented in close cooperation with the subdivisions of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Management "Tatmeliovodkhoz" and JSC Trust Company "Tatmelioratsia". This project will make a great contribution to the food security of the entire south-east of Tatarstan. Estimated project implementation period is the first half of 2023.
