Onions and carrots become cheaper at agricultural fairs
On September 10, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk district, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and in 26 municipal districts. Delivery of products is provided by 32 municipal districts of the republic, agricultural holding enterprises, small forms of management.
This week there was a decrease in the price of onions and carrots. If earlier, the onion was sold for 25 rubles, now it is 22 rubles per kilogram. Carrots have fallen in price by 5 rubles to 18 rubles per kilogram.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the course of trade on the site on the street Leningradskaya. The products were presented by Tatagrokhim. The minister highly appreciated the organization of the fair and the assortment presented.
In total, according to the results of 6 fair days, agricultural products were sold for a total of 615.9 million rubles. 7,720.4 tons of vegetables were sold, including 5,402.7 tons of potatoes, 95.3 tons of draft milk, 627.7 tons of meat, including 387.5 tons of beef, 254.5 tons of flour and 368 tons of sugar.
More than 6,000 vehicles were involved in the fairs.
The fairs are scheduled until December 24.
