Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the construction of the irrigation system in the Chistopol district
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov paid a working visit to the Chistopol region. Here he got acquainted with the construction of an irrigation system on the farmland of the Chistopolskaya agricultural company. He was accompanied by Gumer Zakirov, General Director of Chistopolye Holding Company JSC, Mars Khismatullin, Director of Tatmeliovodkhoz Administration, Alexander Romadanovsky, Head of the District Agricultural Administration, heads of construction organizations involved in the construction of the land reclamation facility.
Alexander Romadanovsky reported on the situation with the harvesting of late agricultural crops. He noted that the cleaning campaign in the area is nearing completion. More than 95 percent of the planned areas have been cleared. The expected gross grain harvest, taking into account late crops, will be more than 200 thousand tons. In the farms of the district, work on the main tillage continues.
Gumer Zakirov, General Director of Chistopolye Holding Company JSC, and Mars Khismatullin, Director of the Tatmeliovodkhoz Department, spoke about the construction of reclamation facilities. As noted, the Chistopolskaya agricultural company is successfully implementing a program for the construction of irrigated lands. The first stage of construction is on an area of 580 hectares near the village of Galaktionovo, Chistopol municipal district, according to the project of JSC Trust Company Tatmelioratsia, was implemented in the winter-spring period of this year and was put into operation before the irrigation season. Potatoes were planted on an area of more than 200 hectares, as well as fodder crops, where a good harvest of agricultural crops was formed this year on the constructed irrigation site. The yield of potatoes under irrigation is more than 320 q/ha, corn for grain - 85 q/ha. Thanks to the current federal and republican target programs, the farm managed to compensate 50% of the costs for the construction of the irrigation system.
The second stage of construction of irrigation on an area of 1304 hectares near the settlement Fikov Kolok started immediately after harvesting at the end of September this year. The facility provides for the construction of a pipeline network of polyethylene pipes of different diameters with a length of more than 23.5 kilometers, the facility will be equipped with modern circular sprinklers and pumping and power equipment. The total estimated cost of the facility is 979 million rubles. To date, 9 construction teams are involved in the construction of the reclamation facility. The planned work is more than 60% complete. Completion of construction and installation works is planned for the end of November this year.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that this year is especially positive for the region. One of the major investors, who previously worked here, has recently been seriously engaged in the development of land reclamation. In the current year alone, about 1900 hectares of new modern irrigated lands will be built and brought into the region.
Then he inspected the newly built modern potato and vegetable storage facilities of the agricultural company, which can accommodate 6,500 tons of products. To date, they contain 3,500 tons of potatoes.
