Agricultural exports of Russian regions were discussed at the Golden Autumn 2022 exhibition

As part of the 24th Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2022", a panel discussion "Agricultural exports of Russian regions" was held. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergey Levin, representatives of regional authorities and business, including Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.

As Sergei Levin noted, in 2022, the export of agricultural products is growing steadily. As of September 25, it increased by about 16%. The volume of deliveries of fat and oil products increased by 29%, cereals - by 6%, fish and seafood - by 11%, meat and dairy products - by 20%, food and processing industry products - by 7%.

According to him, to expand the potential of agricultural exports, the opening of markets for domestic regulated products continues. Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture abroad help to interact with foreign partners. To date, 41 agricultural attaches have been appointed in 40 countries around the world.

This year, the geography of business events and business missions was expanded through the Federal Center "Agroexport" of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. Business missions were organized to Qatar, Armenia, Turkey, Malaysia and Vietnam.

In current prices, 54 subjects demonstrate the outstripping dynamics of exports. In addition, the regions are actively developing new directions. In 2022, more than 1 thousand new regional product-country pairs appeared. The main growth is shown by the oil and fat industry, food and processing industry.

Marat Zyabbarov said that in order to increase production and processing of agricultural products in the republic, about 30 investment projects are being implemented with a total investment of 50 billion rubles, including 13 of them worth more than 16.0 billion rubles are export-oriented. He also announced regional measures to support such enterprises.
