Today, before the thirty-fourth meeting of the State Council, a meeting of the United Russia faction was held, in which the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov took part. He reported on effective practices of agricultural cooperation.

“2022 is quite favorable for agriculture,” he noted, “the gross harvest of grain crops amounted to 5.335 million tons, a good harvest of sugar beet is expected (this is 1.65 million tons of roots or about 250 thousand tons of granulated sugar) and potatoes ( more than 1 million tons). In animal husbandry, we expect production of 540,000 tons of meat and 1,980,000 tons of milk. All figures are above 2021. Accordingly, the volume of gross agricultural output is planned at the amount of 273 billion rubles, with an increase of 11% compared to last year.

Marat Zyabbarov stressed that one of the most important priorities of the state policy in the field of agriculture is the support of small forms of management, "which traditionally account for up to half of the gross agricultural output." In addition to support, the increase in production in this sector is facilitated by the involvement of personal subsidiary plots and farmers in agricultural consumer cooperation.

Currently, more than 300 agricultural cooperatives operate in the republic. The development of agricultural consumer cooperation is largely due to large state support in several areas. Only 100 cooperatives have received grant support since 2015 for a total amount of 1 billion 754 million rubles, including 6 cooperatives in 2022 for the amount of 133 million rubles. Next year, subsidies to cooperatives will increase by more than 1.5 times and will reach 344 million rubles, including 279 million rubles from the federal budget.

To provide practical assistance in the republic, a Competence Center for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation has been established.” “The population is still in need of consultations on business organization,” Marat Zyabbarov emphasized.
