A large-scale Kazan Digital Week forum dedicated to digital transformation and the development of the country's scientific sovereignty has opened in Kazan. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the forum.
He noted that the Kazan Digital Week forum is being held for the third time, but under the conditions of sanctions restrictions, the agenda of the event is of particular relevance.
“Events of the forum are aimed at solving the problems of the country’s scientific and technical sovereignty, including the development of domestic software, data protection and training of highly qualified specialists,” Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the participants of the event.
According to him, this year the key directions of the forum have been preserved. Last year, the event showed a high demand among the participants as a platform for the exchange of views, experience and the formation of business contacts.
“About 120 events will be held within the framework of the current forum, about 13 thousand people from 32 countries have confirmed participation. The exhibition exposition will demonstrate over 200 projects in the IT field. These days, the Digital Skills Championship will also be held, it will be held in 29 digital competencies, most of which are innovative,” said the President of Tatarstan.
Maxim Parshin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, supplemented his words.
“The forum in Kazan has already become a traditional event in the digital life of the country. This is a nationwide event. Representatives of almost all regions of the country have gathered here, it marks the high importance of this event for the digital transformation of Russia,” he concluded and wished the participants of the Kazan Digital Week forum productive work.
At the end of the opening ceremony, distinguished guests went to the forum's exposition site to see the most interesting stands and talk with their representatives.
Recall that RIVC JSC is a co-organizer of the forum. The team of JSC "RIVC" has developed a system for digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, which includes three main areas:
- creation of a regional information system for the agro-industrial complex - "Agropolia".
- education, in particular: advanced training courses for top management of agricultural enterprises.
- automation of agribusiness as the basis of all digital transformation.
All these systems should be connected with Agropolia, which will eventually lead to the creation of a single digital ecosystem of agricultural data of the Republic.
