IA "Tatar-inform" discussed the strategy of digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex

20 September 2022, Tuesday

Today, a press conference dedicated to the strategy of digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex was held at the Tatar-inform news agency. It was attended by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, General Director of JSC "RIVC" Niyaz Khaliullin.

In 2022, declared the Year of Digitalization, a high bar to implement the project for the transition of agriculture to digital in just one year, was set.

The team of JSC "RIVC" has developed a system for digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, which includes three main areas:

- creation of a regional information system for the agro-industrial complex - "Agropolia".

- advanced training courses for top management of agricultural enterprises.

- automation of agribusiness as the basis of all digital transformation.

All these systems should be connected with Agropolia, which will eventually lead to the creation of a single digital ecosystem of agricultural data of the Republic.

The first results of the announced projects will be presented at the Kazan Digital Week forum, which starts on September 21 at the Kazan Expo IEC.

“The Digital Technologies in Agriculture block will occupy the largest exposition area. These are 1000 square meters, 15 countries and 30 thousand visitors - figures that deserve attention. Everyone who determines the strategy for digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, implements it and manages the enterprise will gather at one site. It is important for us that the agricultural sectors: crop production, animal husbandry, processing keep up with the times and be competitive. It is impossible to achieve high results in terms of the economy and production indicators without digitalization,” said Nail Zalakov.

“60 speakers will speak at the forum. We had a serious selection, a point system. The speakers will be very interesting, we expect a rich program,” Niyaz Khaliullin emphasized.
