Today, agricultural fairs have started at 14 sites in Kazan, as well as in major cities of the republic.
The renovated site on Yudino Street was inspected by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, the First Deputy Minister Nail Zalakov, the head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Rustem Gafarov, the head of the administration of the Kirov and Moscow regions Sergey Mironov.
Meat, dairy products, vegetables, honey, cereals, groceries - everything was available at prices below the average retail prices. Fairs are of social importance both for citizens and for agricultural producers, who can sell their products without intermediaries, and also not pay for a trading place, which significantly reduces the cost of products.
Further, the delegation headed by Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the course of trade at the site on the street Tinchurin. Here the products were presented by agricultural producers of the Tyulyachinsky municipal district. Meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, vegetables, honey, cereals and other farm products - everything was also in abundance here.
Products presented at agricultural fairs undergo mandatory inspection in the laboratories of veterinary and sanitary examination. Only products that are safe in veterinary and phytosanitary terms are allowed for sale.
“The assortment is very large, the prices are 15-20% cheaper than the average retail ones. Our agricultural producers are sympathetic and take part in fairs every year. The leadership of the republic compensates for the costs of fuel and lubricants, which allows us to maintain affordable prices,” the minister said.
A total of 16 fairs are planned, they will continue until December 24th.
