Marat Zyabbarov headed the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry hosted a meeting of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Khalil Shaikhutdinov, Executive Director of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Kappusheva, Head of the Development Department of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Flera Abdulaeva. The participants discussed the prospects and main priorities for the development of the industry, identified problematic issues.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov pays special attention to the horse breeding industry. Thanks to the support provided, the Tatar horse breed was restored, and the Nurlat farm was renovated.
The key case of the meeting was the election of the Chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan. Since 2016, the Federation has been headed by Vasil Shaykhraziev. Today, the participants of the meeting elected a new Chairman. It was Marat Zyabbarov, who was nominated by President Rustam Minnikhanov.
“We have an ambitious task ahead of us – to increase the total number of horses to 50,000 by 2030. There is a lot of work to be done, but now there is a clear understanding that for us this is not just leisure or one of the areas of the food program. These are our roots, our history, which we must not forget ourselves and instill love and deep awareness of these sources in our children,” Marat Zyabbarov urged.
