Knowledge Day was held at the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine
Today, as in all educational institutions, a solemn event was held at the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman. It was attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a former student of the academy - Lenar Garipov, Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of the Russian Federation Farida Garifullina, Vasily Mullina, Deputy Director of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC. They congratulated students and teachers on the start of a new academic year.
The event was opened by the rector of the university, Rustam Ravilov, giving a start to a new academic year, an interesting and eventful stage in life, first of all, for the first-year students, and, of course, senior students.
“The main mission is to provide qualified specialists to the veterinary industry of the republic, to assist in the implementation of current programs to ensure veterinary well-being. The guarantor of this is the good traditions of your institution - a continuously updated material and technical base, an excellent team of experienced teachers, a qualitative increase in the level of education, worthy students and graduates - future and real veterinarians and zoo engineers," Lenar Garipov emphasized.
“Over its almost 150years history, the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine has brought up more than one generation of famous scientists and sought-after personalities, has made a great contribution to the training of qualified personnel for the agricultural industry. Dear Academy students! I wish you good luck and success. And I want to express my gratitude to the leadership of the university, the teaching staff, all the employees for your hard but noble work!” Farida Garifullina, chairman of the Tatarstan republican organization of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of the Russian Federation, congratulated the participants of the ceremony.
She presented honorary awards to teachers and students of the academy for their active participation in trade union activities. In particular, a nominal scholarship of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of the Russian Federation for high academic achievements, active participation in the work of the trade union organization of the educational institution was awarded to a member of the trade union, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Standardization of the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine of N.E. Bauman Alina Shapovalova.
The diploma of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Tatarstan and the trade union award Farida Garifullina handed to the members of the trade union: Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy of the University Danila Mingaleev, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the Academy Farit Nurgaliev and Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Standardization, Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry Technology and Animal Hygiene Ramil Fayzdrakhmanov for conscientious and active work in the trade union.
