Today, the Ministry held a meeting with municipal districts chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. The event was also attended by deputy ministers, heads of districts and heads of agricultural departments.
Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin was the first to speak. The main topics of his report were the progress of harvesting, the pace of winter sowing, liming of acidic soils, as well as registration in the FSIS "Zerno".
“To date, the agrarians of the republic have threshed 3.82 million tons of grain, threshed 968 thousand hectares, which is 68%,” Dmitry Yashin reported. He also noted that dry weather led to a decrease in moisture reserves in the arable layer of soil. The Department of Hydrometeorology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded the onset of dry wind and atmospheric drought in a number of areas. In terms of moisture reserves in the soil, the situation is not critical. The Deputy Minister urged to complete the sowing of winter crops as soon as possible, that is, before September 5.
Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov spoke about the results of the livestock industry for 7 months of 2022.
“For 7 months of this year, 875 thousand tons of milk were produced, 103% compared to last year. The average milk yield per cow is 4,133 kg, 264 kg more than in 2021. In many areas, hot weather has set in, which can provoke heat stress. One of the effective methods of prevention of heat stress is the organization of proper watering of animals. Therefore, we recommend strengthening control over the uninterrupted water supply of animals. Animals need to be provided with free access to clean and cool water, especially after milking,” said Lenar Garipov.
Deputy Minister Rafael Fattakhov spoke about the use of the potential of grain harvesters. Loads on combines this year are high. On average, the load per 1 physical harvester in the republic is 492 hectares, while the standard is 350 hectares, in some farms the load even reaches 1000 or more hectares. Under such circumstances, it is necessary to involve mechanized detachments.
“In the past lean year, the farms attracted about 250 combines from outside, and this year, despite rather high yields, only 130 combines were attracted. It should be noted that in case of late harvesting for 10 days, up to 4 centners of grain are lost from 1 hectare. Therefore, timely harvesting with involved harvesters is much more profitable than late harvesting with large losses,” the Deputy Minister urged.
Rishat Khabipov reported on measures to support personal subsidiary plots.
“2 new areas of support are being opened, including programs to support start-up cooperatives and private household plots for the purchase of poultry,” he said.
In conclusion, the Deputy Minister dwelled on the issue of rent for share lands. “It must be worthy in order to simply pay land tax and provide livestock in personal farmsteads with fodder. This year there are no problems with grain, please organize the issuance of rent in accordance with the concluded agreements. The recommended amount is not less than 800 rubles per hectare,” concluded Rishat Khabipov.
