Zainsky municipal district was visited today by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin. Together with the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, he got acquainted with the pace of the harvesting campaign and met with local farmers.
The meeting with heads of agricultural enterprises, heads of rural settlements and machine operators took place on the field of the Zainsky Sakhar agricultural company near the village of Chubukly. The head of the Zainsky district, Razif Karimov, said that the harvested area in the district is 36.7 thousand hectares. To date, farmers have harvested 21.4 thousand hectares - 58%. More than 105 thousand tons of new crops have been threshed. Productivity in the Zainsky district is one of the highest in the republic - 49.2 centners per hectare. Sugar beet harvesting started last week. In total, according to the forecast, it is planned to harvest up to 173 thousand tons of grain and 468 thousand tons of sugar beets.
There are 8860 heads of cattle in the region, including 3800 cows. According to the forecast for 2022, milk production is estimated at 26.8 thousand tons, meat - 1788 tons.
Subsidies for small businesses this year amount to 57.3 million rubles. In total, there are 416 heads of cattle (38 cows) in local peasant farms, and 3,560 heads of cattle in private household plots, including 1,160 cows. There are also 44 mini-farms for 366 cows in the district.
According to Razif Karimov, autumn sowing is being carried out in parallel with the harvesting. On August 15, the farms started sowing winter rye and winter wheat. This year, over 18,000 hectares have been allocated for winter crops.
Then Alexey Pesoshin got acquainted with the work of agricultural firms Agrosila, Vostok, Zai, as well as large enterprises in the field of agro-industrial complex - Zainsky Sakhar, Zainsky Elevator, Zainsk-Khleb, the Zai agricultural industrial park.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed that Zainsky district is one of the leaders in the field of agriculture. “Both in terms of harvesting rates and productivity, you are among the best. There are large agricultural firms, investors, and powerful processing established. The issue of food security today comes to the fore. I want to thank you all for your work,” Alexey Pesoshin said.
Also at the meeting, issues of road construction and the development of social infrastructure in the region were discussed.
