In the Republic of Tatarstan, batches of seeds from the 2022 harvest are being formed, processed and calibrated. This week, specialists from the regional departments of Rosselkhoztsentr will begin an active check of the sowing qualities of grain seeds for the 2023 harvest.

In six municipal districts of the republic - Yutazinsky, Buinsky, Muslyumovsky, Zainsky, Sarmanovsky and Bavlinsky - the provision with seeds of winter crops for the 2023 harvest is more than 100%, as the Tatarstan branch of the Rosselkhozcenter noted.

At the same time, seed preparation on farms is not yet set in all regions. So, as of August 10, in eight districts, provision with seeds of winter crops for sowing is less than 40%. These are Mendeleevsky, Apastovsky, Agryzsky, Spassky, Nurlatsky, Pestrechinsky, Chistopolsky and Cheremshansky municipal districts.

- As of August 10 of this year, 81.6 thousand tons of seeds of winter grain crops were prepared in the republic, which is 66% of the forecast. 99% of these seeds are from a rolling stock. Sowing qualities were tested in 74% of the seeds, while 99% of the tested volume of seeds are conditioned, - said Rafis Khabibullin, deputy head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rosselkhozcenter in the Republic of Tatarstan.
