The Ministry held a presentation of the concept of development of agroclasses in the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, a presentation of the concept "Development of the agroclass system in the Republic of Tatarstan" was held.

As part of the agricultural classes, children aged 12-15 and 16-18 are introduced to activities in agriculture in order to help them decide on their future profession and find a potential job. This is a large-scale project that is aimed at long-term work with young people in several stages: schoolchildren - students - specialists. At each stage, specialized training will be organized within the framework of agricultural classes. Training is planned to be carried out in the format of games, experiments, competitions, practices at enterprises, research, analysis and solution of cases.

“The agro-industrial complex of the republic needs qualified young specialists, ambitious and purposeful. To date, the share of young people under 30 employed in agriculture is only 8%. We are ready to support, teach, explain and help with employment. To unlock the potential of children, to train personnel, such agricultural classes will be organized,” said Marat Zyabbarov.

The result of the meeting was the creation of a working group to develop a system of agricultural classes in the Republic. From September 1, 2022, the implementation of specific measures to develop agricultural classes on the territory of schools in each of the 43 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan will begin. Agricultural universities and colleges, enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as organizations involved in academic research of agricultural classes will take part in the development of agroclasses.
