On July 28-30, in the village of Sokolniki, Kaliningrad Region, one of the key events in the field of agro-industrial complex took place - the exhibition "All-Russian Field Day - 2022".
Participants of the All-Russian Agricultural Exhibition could get acquainted with the achievements of the reclamation complex of Russia at a specialized site of the Department of Reclamation, Land Policy and State Property of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. The Department's exposition provided extensive information on current federal programs and projects for the development of land reclamation, as well as the production of land reclamation equipment, including at the Kazan Plant of Irrigation Equipment, which has been producing modern wide-spread electrified sprinklers since 2016.
As part of the business events of the All-Russian Field Day 2022 exhibition, round tables and panel discussions were held on topical areas of agricultural development. The Department of Reclamation, Land Policy and State Property organized a round table "Reclamation complex of the Russian Federation as the main factor in reducing the negative consequences of climate aridization, increasing the fertility of agricultural land, ensuring food security of the Russian Federation in modern reality". It was attended by the head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Management "Tatmeliovodkhoz" , senior researcher IPI AS RT Mars Khismatullin, as well as the director of the Tatar Research Institute of Agrochemistry and Soil Science Elena Prishchepenko.
Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Mars Khismatullin made a presentation on the topic “Implementation of measures to improve the efficiency of the reclamation complex on the example of the Volga Federal District”.
He spoke about the system of land reclamation of the republic and about the federal and republican targeted programs for the development of land reclamation in the republic, which allow subsidizing agricultural producers up to 70 percent of land reclamation costs. It was noted that the current areas of state support allow annually introducing 5-6 thousand hectares of irrigated land, liming on an area of more than 80 thousand hectares, as well as carrying out agroforestry measures by planting protective forest belts on an area of more than 3000 hectares.
He also presented the participants to the results of large-scale scientific research carried out in Tatarstan at scientific reclamation sites to improve the technologies for cultivating crops on irrigation, the production of organic products on reclaimed lands, as well as the development of modern sprinkler machines with an improved rain belt, which are the first in Russia put into mass production.
The moderator of the round table - Director of Depzemmelioration Dmitry Sorokin highly appreciated the work of meliorators of Tatarstan, noting the joint work of all meliorative, scientific and agrochemical services of the republic, agro-industrial complex and agricultural producers, thanks to which a worthy result is ensured: record harvests of potatoes, vegetables, fodder and other crops on irrigated fields.
