Also today, a working meeting was held between the Minister of Agriculture of Russia and the President of Tatarstan. Dmitry Patrushev noted that Tatarstan is traditionally one of the largest recipients of state support. Last year, disbursement was 99.8%. This year, about 4 billion rubles have been allocated to support the industry, the percentage of completion corresponds to the Russian average.
For a systematic increase in crop yields, the volume of fertilizer application plays an important role. At the moment, this indicator in the Republic of Tatarstan exceeds the national average. Another factor is the development of land reclamation. In the region, the percentage of use of reclaimed land in agricultural production is quite high - more than 97%. Participation in the state program for the effective involvement of agricultural land in circulation and the development of the reclamation complex will help to further increase this figure and systematically update reclamation facilities. In 2022, Tatarstan will subsidize 36 projects for 360 million rubles.
Animal husbandry is also actively developing in the Republic, as Dmitry Patrushev noted. At the end of last year, the region became the leader in the country in milk production - almost 2 million tons. This year the growth continues. Also positive dynamics is observed in livestock and poultry.
