Topical issues of dairy industry were discussed today at AGROVOLGA
Today, as part of the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition AGROVOLGA 2022, an expanded meeting of the Board of the Union of Milk Producers of Tatarstan was held, at which the presentation of the first rating of milk producers of the Republic of Tatarstan took place. It was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, General Director of the National Union of Milk Producers Artyom Belov, and General Director of the Union of Milk Producers of Tatarstan Denis Pirogov.
“The Union is faced with the task of further active participation in the development of dairy industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The goal for the near future is to cross the threshold of raw milk production in the Republic of more than 2 million tons per year with an average productivity of more than 7,000 kg per cow,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
The dairy industry for the Republic of Tatarstan is a promising and dynamically developing area of rural business. Milk today is a source of reliable income for the village and a raw material for the production of many key food products in the daily consumption of the population of our country.
