Hundreds of companies and thousands of visitors: the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Agrovolga-2022" opened in Tatarstan
Today, the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition Agrovolga 2022 has opened at the Kazan Expo exhibition center. This year, 415 companies from 42 regions of Russia, as well as from Turkey, Belarus, South Korea, Australia and the Netherlands take part in it.
Opening the exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov noted that Agrovolga is a unique event for agriculture not only in Tatarstan, but also in Russia as a whole.
Agrovolga combines a large-scale exposition, a business forum, experimental and demonstration fields on 48 hectares on one site. This year more than 400 companies take part here, it is expected that the exhibition will be visited by about 15 thousand specialists and heads of the agro-industrial complexes of Russia,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
“Companies will present their new developments in the field of agricultural machinery, crop production, animal husbandry, digitalization, storage, processing and packaging of agricultural products. For the second time, a competition of breeding animals will be held, during which the best cows of Tatarstan will be selected,” he stressed.
It is also planned to hold a competition of professional skills and the best orthopedic veterinarians.
“Mechanic operators will be able to show their skills in driving a tractor in the regional Tractor Show competition. On the experimental fields, achievements in breeding, a variety of fertilizers and means of protection of more than 30 companies will be presented,” the minister said.
At the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition AGROVOLGA 2022, more than 100 thousand square meters of the exhibition center and adjacent fields, the companies demonstrate their achievements in breeding, fertilizers and plant protection products. Manufacturers of agricultural machinery and spare parts presented over 100 pieces of equipment.
