In the municipal districts of Tatarstan fodder is being harvested
Forage crops are being harvested at a good pace in the fields of Zainsky district. All agricultural firms have started harvesting alfalfa. 4 Jaguar forage harvesters, 2 John Deer brand forage harvesters, 17 units of mowers are involved in the work. There are 7,300 hectares of perennial grasses in the area, taking into account the crops of 2022. For successful wintering of livestock and obtaining high milk yields, farmers of the region need to prepare 34.5 thousand tons of haylage, taking into account one and a half annual stocks of 52 thousand tons. To date, 3,000 tons of haylage have been harvested, 1,652 ha have been mowed for haylage. Also hay is being harvested, 166 hectares have been mowed, the volume of hay harvested today is 105 tons.
This week, the agricultural formations of the Bavlinsky municipal district also began to prepare fodder for the winter period. Head of the district, Ilyas Guzairov, together with the head of the department of agriculture, got acquainted with the progress of work. With leaders of LLC "Kzyl-Yar" and "Baker" they discussed the progress of harvesting and the forecast of fodder harvesting. To date, more than 100 hectares have been mowed in the district.
In total, 78882 tons of haylage have been harvested in the republic, and 34949 hectares of perennial grasses have been mowed.
