Marat Zyabbarov held a number of meetings with foreign delegations
Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov met with foreign delegations as part of the business program of the XIII International Economic Summit "KazanSummit 2022". The meetings were also attended by First Deputy Minister Nail Zalakov, General Director of JSC "RATSIN" Denis Samodurov, Head of the project for the export of Halal products, Head of investment projects of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov, heads of large enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The first meeting was with the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. To date, the import of agricultural products to the Republic of Tatarstan from Iran has amounted to about 6 million US dollars. This is mainly agricultural machinery, dried fruits and fruits.
Then there was a meeting with a delegation from the UAE, headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry of the Ministry of Economy of the UAE H.E. Abdullah Al Saleh.
Recall that in 2021, agricultural products worth $0.22 million were shipped from the Republic of Tatarstan to the UAE, including: barley in the amount of $0.20 million, confectionery products in the amount of $0.02 million.
“As for the UAE, we want to increase trade between the Republic and the UAE by building convenient logistics routes and finding reliable partners,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
Tatarstan has an opportunity to export meat, dairy, confectionery, oil and fat products, including Halal products certified according to international standards, as well as animal feed, to the countries of the East.
The meeting with the Palestinian delegation was held by Nail Zalakov. The parties also discussed the possibilities of cooperation.
