Occupational safety issues in the spotlight
What promising measures are planned in the field of labor protection in the Republic of Tatarstan? And what is the current state of activities to ensure safe working conditions at enterprises and organizations? These and other topics were discussed by the participants of the "round table" in the Kazan Palace of Labor. The meeting was timed to the World Day of Labor Protection. The event was held online and offline at the same time.
In 2022, World Day for Safety at Work is held under the slogan "Together we will form a positive culture of safety at work." Therefore, in the process of discussing the measures taken to ensure safe working conditions at enterprises and organizations of Tatarstan, they talked about the results of joint activities of trade unions and their social partners.
In order to increase the level of protection of workers in the field of labor protection, today the trade unions of the Republic of Tatarstan closely cooperate with the ministries and departments of the republic. Forms of cooperation are diverse: from the conclusion of Agreements on interaction, joint inspections to participation in meetings at various levels. And in the future, this joint work should be continued with even greater efficiency, the participants of the round table noted.
Farida Garifullina, Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of the Russian Federation, together with the heads of enterprises, also notes the positive results of systematic work on the ground of the Primary trade union organizations authorized for labor protection. This can be said based on the steadily declining indicators of the number of victims of accidents at work.
