Over 600 tons of sugar were sold at spring agricultural fairs in Tatarstan
From March 19 to April 23 this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held agricultural fairs at 15 sites in the city of Kazan and 6 sites in large cities of the republic.
Taking into account the situation with the rush demand for granulated sugar and vegetable products for 6 fair days, compared to last year, 607.2 tons of granulated sugar were sold ( 2 times more (it was 365.1 tons)), 4 times more potatoes - 681.6 tons (it was 171.6 tons), onions - 135 tons and carrots - 82 tons. For the rest of the positions, it was possible to achieve an increase in volumes from 20 to 100%.
1146.5 tons of vegetable products;
426.2 tons of beef;
130.6 tons of poultry meat;
328.2 tons of flour;
607.2 tons of sugar;
42.7 tons of buckwheat;
99.6 tons of draft milk.
The total volume of imported products amounted to 500.2 million rubles, for which 32 municipal districts, 5497 vehicles were involved, about 1400 of which are large-sized.
