Topical issues of horticulture were discussed in Kazan

This weekend there was a working meeting of the Union of Gardeners of Russia. At the event, the results of the work of the garden non profit societies were summed up, plans for this year were outlined, and measures to support gardeners under the sanctions were discussed. Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the development of horticultural partnerships.

Today, 950 horticultural and horticultural non-profit partnerships operate in 23 districts of the republic, which are mainly (about 90%) located in the suburbs of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk. One of the main areas of support is the repair of external facilities for the period 2017–2021, 2.7 billion rubles were allocated from the budget of the republic. To continue the work of gardeners in 2022, 550 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the overhaul and reconstruction of the external infrastructureof garden territories.

In addition, since 2018, the ministry has been providing state support by providing subsidies to reimburse part of the costs associated with the repair of external infrastructure. A new subsidy program is now in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, in which the main condition is the availability of SNT's own funds for at least 1/3 of the cost of repair work, that is, no more than 2/3 of the cost of work is allocated from the budget of the republic for repair work.
