The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia transferred to the regions 100% of subsidies for the production and sale of bakery products
An additional 2.5 billion rubles of subsidies for bakery enterprises have been brought to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Relevant agreements were signed by the
Ministry of Agriculture of Russia with 80 regions where bread is produced. The decision to implement this measure was taken by the Government in order to maintain a stable situation in the market of socially significant products, taking into account the positive experience of the past year. In 2021, this mechanism proved its effectiveness and high demand - the allocated money was fully selected. The support made it possible to minimize the growth in bread prices, despite a significant increase in the cost of its production, and to keep the dynamics below the food inflation rate. This year, the amount of assistance for enterprises has been increased from 2 to 2.5 thousand rubles per ton of products.
In addition, in order to quickly transfer funds from the federal and regional budgets to the final recipients, the selection period for granting subsidies was reduced from 30 to 10 calendar days.
In Tatarstan, to support the baking industry, in order to prevent a sharp rise in prices, 310 million rubles will be allocated to reimburse part of the costs of producing social bread.
Federal funds have already arrived in the republic, and a selection process is underway.
