Issues of effective dairy farming were discussed in the Arsky municipal district

Today in the Arsky municipal district a zonal seminar-conference "New Challenges: Efficient Dairy Farming in Conditions of Import Substitution" was held. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Head of the Main Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, specialists of the Ministry, as well as heads of agricultural departments of neighboring regions and heads of farms.

Before the start of the seminar, the participants got acquainted with the exhibition organized in front of the House of Culture. Domestic manufacturers of fertilizers, feed, agricultural equipment were presented here.

“Due to the unfavorable epizootic situation, it was decided to hold this event without visiting livestock facilities. Yesterday we held a seminar in the Buinsk zone, further it is planned in the Nurlat, Aznakaev and Nizhnekamsk zones. I ask you to carefully listen to the speakers and introduce the proposed technologies into production as much as possible,” Minister Marat Zyabbarov urged.

Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov made a keynote speech on the results of the 1st quarter in animal husbandry.

“More than 357,000 tons of milk have been produced, the increase compared to last year was + 2%. In terms of productivity, they increased by +7% or +104 kg compared to last year. The plan was fulfilled by 106% (+96 kg)," he said. Further, Lenar Garipov dwelled on the issues of identification of livestock, the safety of young animals and urged to preserve and increase the number of livestock, pay special attention to the health of animals by providing a sufficient and complete diet, and bring livestock buildings into proper shape.

Tomorrow the same seminar will be held in the Nurlat district. then - in Aznakaevsky and Nizhnekamsk municipal districts.
