Specialists of the Russian Agricultural Center of Tatarstan checked the sowing qualities of about 320 thousand tons of spring crop seeds
Specialists of the regional departments of the "Rosselkhoztsentr" of Tatarstan carried out active work to check the sowing qualities of seeds of spring crops. Thus, as of March 30 of this year, out of 380.9 thousand tons of seeds of spring cereals, legumes and cereals, 319.2 thousand tons were checked in the republic.
“This is 101% of the need - according to forecasts, 317.3 thousand tons of seeds of these crops will be required in the republic this year for spring sowing. 97% of the tested seeds, or 308.8 thousand tons meet the requirements of state standards,” said Rafis Khabibullin, deputy head of the Rosselkhozcenter branch in the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the expert, more than a third of the tested seeds, or 37%, are original and elite; 49% - reproduction, 7% - mass reproduction, 4% - non-varietal seeds.
According to the Tatarstan branch of Rosselkhoztsentr, the entire available volume of seeds of these spring crops has been checked in the Aktanyshsky municipal district - 14.3 thousand tons, Alekseevsky - 11.2 thousand tons, Atninsky - 8.6 thousand tons, Baltasinsky - 10.1 thousand tons , Mamadyshsky - 9.4 thousand tons and Tetyushsky - 11.5 thousand tons. Moreover, these figures significantly exceed the need of these regions for seeds of spring cereals, legumes and cereals for the successful sowing campaign-2022.
