Backbone enterprises of the agro-industrial complex will be able to get a loan of up to 5 billion rubles for operating activities at a rate of 10% per annum.
According to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 375 dated March 16, 2022, borrowers can be backbone organizations and/or their subsidiaries from the list approved by the Government Commission on Improving the Sustainability of the Russian Economy.
A loan is provided for a period of not more than 12 months for operating activities, for example, the purchase of fuels and lubricants, mineral fertilizers, agricultural raw materials for further processing, etc.
Its maximum size is 5 billion rubles. At the same time, if an organization has several subsidiaries, then the total amount of concessional loans is also limited to 5 billion rubles.
The lending rate for the borrower is 10%.
“In the current conditions, the real sector of the economy, including the agro-industrial complex, needs additional support. Rosselkhozbank, as a backbone for the agro-industrial complex, was the first to sign an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and has already sent a number of applications for approval,” commented Tatyana Pantelkina, Director of the Rosselkhozbank’s Corporate Business Development and Support Department.
